Third Time’s the Charm is a bar and restaurant in Red Hook, N.Y.

We are seeking a porter/overnight cleaner to assist our operations. 

As a porter, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning the dining room, bathroom, backyard patio and other customer areas;
• Refilling towel stations, soaps, and other disposable products;
• Sweeping and mopping floors;
• Other cleaning tasks that may be assigned from time to time; and 
• Ensuring our kitchen is locked and secured at the end of your shift. 

We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year’s experience cleaning in a restaurant or commercial setting.

Candidates should demonstrate: 

• An eye for detail;
• A get-the-job-done attitude; 
• A calm and generous demeanor;
• The ability to work in a team, to deadline, and under pressure; and
• A knack for anticipating the needs of your manager and your team.

Applicants must also be able to: 

• Stand for long periods of time; and
• Occasionally lift objects 50 lbs and under.

You must be able to work overnight on weekdays and weekends.
