SUMMARY:
Generate new business through the lending of Bank funds in a profitable and prudent manner, while cross-selling additional Bank products and services to both new and existing clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Generate new loan business by calling on prospective and existing clients to assess financial needs, gather relevant information, conduct on-site visits, and make loan decisions or present to the appropriate committee.
Expected to generate approximately $10MM in annual net loan portfolio growth.
Develop and maintain a strong referral network by calling on centers of influence within the communities served.
Cross-sell Bank products and services in conjunction with primary lending responsibilities.
Conduct joint sales calls with Group Manager, Department Manager, and/or Senior Partner as needed.
Provide complete and accurate information for the timely preparation of loan presentations to the Credit Department and appropriate committees, along with recommendations.
Review loan documentation to ensure the Bank’s collateral position is adequately protected.
Monitor loan portfolio for delinquency, credit deterioration, and documentation exceptions; maintain updated files and supporting memoranda.
Provide financial guidance and a high level of service to both prospective and existing clients.
Support Branch, Loan Servicing, CDP, and Construction Services teams with loan-related inquiries and requests.
Represent the Bank in community, business, charitable, civic, and social activities.
Participate in required training, workshops, and professional development activities.

Demonstrated track record of business development and portfolio growth.
Ability to evaluate financial statements and tax returns to assess borrower financial position and cash flow.
Comfortable with technology and able to adapt to new systems and processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years of commercial lending experience required.
