About the Role A mission-driven human services organization supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health needs through residential and community-based programs is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team on a temporary basis. This contract role will provide leave-of-absence coverage and support high-volume recruiting efforts for Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions across approximately 55 group homes throughout the Twin Cities area.

Job Description The Contract Recruiter will partner closely with two experienced recruiters and hiring managers to attract, source, screen, and hire candidates for multiple openings. The Contract Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting Direct Support Professional positions, recruiting for both full-time and part-time opportunities across multiple Twin Cities locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full-cycle recruiting activities for Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions, excluding onboarding
- Sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates through various recruiting channels
- Conducting phone interviews and initial candidate assessments
- Maintaining and managing job postings through JazzHR and other recruiting platforms
- Utilizing Indeed and other sourcing tools to build strong candidate pipelines
- Coordinating and communicating with hiring managers regarding candidate status and hiring needs
- Scheduling interviews and facilitating the hiring process
- Extending offers and supporting candidates through the pre-employment process
- Tracking recruiting activity and maintaining accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
- Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Qualifications Required Qualifications: - 1–3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities
- Proficiency with Indeed and other online sourcing tools
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Experience sourcing and screening candidates in a high-volume environment
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); JazzHR experience is a plus
