Job Description

We are seeking a strong communicator and data management expert for a strategic Enterprise Data Steward position.

Please Note: This is NOT a technical developer, coding, architecture, or IT engineering position. This is a business-facing, relationship-management, and coaching role.

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

Core Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Serve as the primary, client-facing point of contact for internal business divisions to guide them through structured data processes.
• Stewardship & Governance: Coordinate with division-level data stewards, facilitating regular check-ins and helping them prepare datasets for enterprise quality measurement.
• Artifact Creation: Assist business users in creating and improving scoping documentation, data dictionaries , and business rules .
• Coaching & Data Literacy: Provide training and hands-on support to technical and non-technical staff to build data stewardship competency across the organization.

Important Skills & Experience Required (8+ Years)

To be successful in this position, your background must clearly reflect:

• Data Governance Expertise: Deep understanding of data management principles, data quality concepts, and data stewardship processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven success managing client relationships, setting expectations, and ensuring the delivery of customer-driven outcomes.
• Documentation Development: Direct experience helping non-technical users define business rules, build data dictionaries, and document data assets.
• Clear Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to facilitate group discussions and bridge the gap between business and data teams.

Preferred Tools

• Standard productivity tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
• Familiarity with data governance tools like Collibra is a plus (training can be provided).
