Job Description

Physician – Sports Medicine (Renton, WA) | Full-Time

Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Sports Medicine Physician to join our area clinics in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Sports Medicine team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients. About the position:

  1. Outpatient-focused sports medicine practice
  2. Clinic Hours: M-F, 8a-5p
  3. Average # of patients seen per day: 16-20
  4. Clinic Team: 3 Physicians with MA support
  5. No weekend hours and no call

Qualifications:

  1. BE/BC in Sports Medicine
  2. Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Background in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry)
  2. Experience performing and interpreting electromyography (EMG) studies
  3. Proficiency in musculoskeletal ultrasound
  4. Strong interest in non-operative sports medicine and comprehensive patient care

Base Salary: $300,000 - $330,000 Annually

Compensation package also includes productivity incentives, quality incentive, sign-on incentive and relocation allowance.
