Job Title: Fence Estimator (Residential & Commercial)

Thomas Fence Company LLC is a leading fencing contractor known for quality craftsmanship and reliable service. We’re growing fast and looking for a sharp, motivated Fence Estimator to join our team and help us turn leads into high-quality projects.

The Role
You’ll be the face of the company, meeting with homeowners and business owners to assess their needs. Your job is to provide accurate, competitive bids for everything from backyard privacy fences to large-scale commercial security perimeters.

What You’ll Do

• Site Visits: Travel to residential and commercial sites to measure layouts and evaluate terrain.
• Estimating: Calculate material, labor, and permit costs using Fence Cloud, Quickbooks and Gmail.
• Consulting: Advise clients on materials (wood, vinyl, chain link, ornamental iron) and local zoning codes.
• Sales: Present professional proposals and follow up to close the deal.
• Coordination: Hand off finalized project specs to our installation crews.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: At least 5 years in construction estimating, ideally in fencing or landscaping.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software and digital measuring tools.
• People Skills: You can talk to anyone and build trust quickly.
• Reliability: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are a must.
• Detail Oriented: You hate missing a measurement or a line item.
