The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures customer comfort by providing high-quality service, technical expertise, and professional communication.
Responsibilities The job duties below include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot components such as compressors, thermostats, motors, fans, filters and ductwork
- Install new HVAC systems and components as needed
- Provide accurate assessments and recommend necessary repairs or replacement options
- Educate customers on system operation, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices
- Complete all required documentation, service tickets, and reports accurately
- Maintain tools, company vehicles, and equipment in proper working conditions
- Follow safety procedures and comply with all company, local, and state codes
- Deliver excellent customer service and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and safe working conditions
Requirements - High School Diploma or technical training preferred
- EPA Certification 2+ years of experience in HVAC Service, maintenance or installation preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoor spaces)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship. The Company participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
Compensation & Benefits - $65K-$150K (hourly)
