The Job:

As a Industrial Designer I, you’ll be part of our Valley City team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:

  • Responsible for all product design of assigned projects, or assigned areas of a project.
  • Assists other product designers and UI/UX designers on specific portions of projects as necessary.
  • Work with other product and UI/UX designers to develop preliminary product concepts on potential new products or features.
  • Provide Marketing, Engineering, Product Managers, and Upper Management support as necessary including renderings, project update presentations, and field research.
  • Maintain effective channels of communication with all project team personnel.
  • Transfers all necessary product information to CAD Design/Surfacing and Engineering groups.
  • Transfers all necessary graphic design information to the Graphic Design Department.
The following training must be completed before advancement can be considered:

  • Alias, CATIA, KeyShot and Cintiq proficient during first two years.
  • Acquire product knowledge.
  • Acquire knowledge, understanding, and requirements to communicate product designs with other SBD organizational groups..
