This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical systems and equipment in a chemical processing environment that includes Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations. You will work hands-on with power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation while ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. The position offers the opportunity to train with a seasoned electrician, gradually assume primary responsibility for the site’s electrical systems, and grow your expertise and earning potential over time.

Work Environment
This position follows a daytime schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing a consistent work routine. The role is based in a chemical processing facility that handles hazardous materials, and while employees are not placed in undue danger, you must be comfortable working in an industrial environment with strict safety protocols. Work is primarily on the plant floor and in utility or equipment areas, involving hands-on tasks with electrical systems, conduit, wiring, PLCs, VFDs, and control panels. The environment emphasizes adherence to safety procedures, use of appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintaining clean, orderly work areas.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
