Job Description

: Responsibilities: Essential Duties:

• Strategically plan and manage transportation to support inbound/outbound material movement to all U.S. points as well as MX and CN.
• Perform lane analysis and align best carrier mix to support corporate objectives for price and service.
• Negotiate parcel, LTL, FTL spot and annual pricing agreements.
• Track industry activity for benchmarking and supporting corporate objectives.
• Serve as corporate resource for specialized freight moves, data requirements, customer shipment issue resolution.
• Keep track of activity, quality of service, delivery times, and transport costs.

• Establish annual transportation operating budget.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company.
• Perform all job-related tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications: Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience (Preferred):

• Proven working experience as a Transport/Logistics Manager.
• BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• Microsoft Office Software required. SAP preferred.
• Proficient in standard logistics software.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

• Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
