Newcastle Public Schools – Four-Day Instructional Week
Newcastle Public Schools is seeking a creative, energetic, and student-centered Elementary Art Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator passionate about fostering self-expression and technical skill in young artists within our progressive, four-day instructional week district.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Oklahoma teaching certification in Art Education (PK-12 or Elementary).
Ability to manage an art studio environment safely and effectively.
Commitment to showcasing student work within the school and community.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Planning and delivering a comprehensive, standards-based visual arts curriculum.
Introducing students to various media, techniques, and art history.
Maintaining art supplies, equipment, and a designated classroom budget.
Collaborating with staff to integrate arts across the general curriculum.
Monitoring and assessing student artistic growth and development.
