Job Description

This role focuses on accurately verifying and preparing customer orders before they are sent to shipping. You will handle physical products, perform detailed quality checks, and use warehouse technology to ensure every order is correct in type, quantity, and documentation. The position requires consistent attention to detail, regular lifting, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Take picked orders and carefully check them for errors to ensure accuracy before they are sent to shipping.
• Perform quality inspections of products, identifying and correcting any mistakes before orders are finalized.
• Lift and move items weighing approximately 30–40 pounds throughout the workday.
• Assist with order picking as needed to support overall warehouse operations.
• Use RF scanners and pick links to upload and maintain accurate documentation for each order.
• Verify all orders multiple times during the process to ensure 100% accuracy in product type and quantity.
• Review bulk orders and break them down into smaller orders by location to meet specific shipping requirements.
• Use work orders to verify that the correct products and quantities are selected for each order.
• Count individual items, such as pairs of socks, to confirm accurate quantities for every order.
• Use computers to enter order data, update records, and print shipping labels for outgoing orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by following established procedures for product verification and documentation.
• Support general warehouse tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Essential Skills

• Experience with order picking, packing, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for product verification and documentation.
• Ability to perform accurate product verification and quality inspection throughout the order process.
• Comfort with general labor tasks, including standing for the entire shift and lifting 30–40 pounds repeatedly.
• Basic computer skills to enter data and print shipping labels.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy in product type and quantity.
• Ability to work efficiently in an open warehouse environment and follow established work orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse packing.

Work Environment

You will work in an open warehouse environment where you stand for the entire shift and perform hands-on tasks. The role involves frequent lifting of 30–40 pounds and working with RF scanners, pick links, and computers to manage orders and documentation. The dress code is casual and practical, typically jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes, suitable for an active warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Mankato, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in North Mankato,MN.
