Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system, which receives recognition for clinical and academic innovation and community excellence. We have an excellent opportunity for a full time Physician Assistant to join our team within the Department of Orthopaedics. Our system serves the local community via two hospital campuses; an urgent care clinic and an integrated network of both primary and specialty care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s Metro North Region. CHA is a teaching affiliate of both Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Tufts University School of Medicine.

About the position:

Full time position: 40 hours per week, four 10 hour days

Coverage across 3 locations; Cambridge, Everett, and Malden

Duties include inpatient rounding, OR first assist, consults, and outpatient clinic assignments

Call is 2 weeknights/month and every 8th weekend

Fully integrated electronic medical record (EPIC)

Qualifications:

License to practice medicine in Massachusetts

Excellent clinical and communication skills

Benefits and compensation:

CHA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off (296 hours annually), medical/dental/vision insurance, 403b retirement plan with employer match, CME time and money, etc

Full-time guaranteed base salary, based on experience, ranges from $117,000- $177,000.
