PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics and Fabricators for commercial and industrial work in Apple Grove, West Virginia. $750 a week per diem on top of $25-$40 an hour, running 50 to 60 hours a week on 10-hour days, Monday through Friday. What you will be doing: Fabricate sheet metal components, fittings, transitions and assemblies from shop drawings and project specifications Measure, mark, cut, bend, roll and form sheet metal using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment Install HVAC duct systems, fittings and supports to project requirements Perform layout work and field modifications as needed Meet quality standards, project specifications and applicable codes Follow all company, customer and OSHA safety requirements What you need: Previous sheet metal fabrication or mechanical installation experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Proficiency with the hand tools and equipment used in the sheet metal trade Your own hand tools for sheet metal fabrication and installation work Reliable transportation to the jobsite Willingness to work overtime when required Apply through RoadTrades and your resume goes straight to the recruiter.
