Job Summary

Student Coordinator, Graduate Medical Education (GME), Baptist Health

Baptist Health is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Graduate Medical Education (GME) Student Coordinator to support the coordination and administration of student and resident programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of clinical rotations for advanced clinical students utilizing New Innovations and myClinicalExchange systems.

• Ensure timely receipt and completion of all student onboarding documentation.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, staff, and affiliated institutions.

• Coordinate and manage affiliation agreements, partnering with the Legal Department as needed.

• Support the GME Coordinator with onboarding and recordkeeping for residents.

• Facilitate check-in sessions for both students and residents.

• Assist with planning and execution of annual resident orientation activities.

• Participate in meetings and initiatives related to student and resident education, including preparing agendas and documenting minutes for the GME Oversight Committee.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Associate’s degree preferred

Experience Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare setting required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications
