Overview
Travel Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) – Seaside, Oregon. Start 09/14/2026 for a multiple-week assignment in a Critical Access hospital’s Echocardiography/Imaging department. Weekly pay range: $2,106–$2,158. Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (5x8 Days); no on-call, no weekend requirements. This role focuses on adult and geriatric imaging with a variety of echo modalities, charting in EPIC, with a need for an IV start competency. A vehicle is required for this assignment. Scheduling may involve limited float between units; patient care is supported by Respiratory, Radiology, and other service lines. The position is travel, temporary assignment, with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic echocardiography (2D/3D) and M-mode imaging; interpret and optimize image quality
- Conduct transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and stress echocardiography (treadmill and pharmacologic)
- Execute bubble studies, color Doppler, LV strain/volume assessment; utilize contrast when indicated
- Administer and manage imaging with contrast agents; obtain IV start competency (hard stop)
- Complete portable studies and support ICU/ED imaging needs; work with GE and Philips systems
- Document findings in EPIC; ensure accurate patient data, safety, and coordination with referring teams

Requirements
- Licensure: Oregon license required (can be submitted pending)
- Certifications: ARDMS, ARRT(S), CCI, RDCS/RVT or equivalent preferred/acceptable
- Experience: Minimum 1 year echo experience; 1st-timers OK
- Education: As listed in Job Notes; on-site onboarding modules completed
- Skills: IV start competency (hard stop); proficiency with GE/Philips imaging platforms
- Setting: Ability to work in a hospital imaging environment; experience with ICU/ED patients
- Travel readiness: Must have a vehicle for the assignment
- Compliance: Background and reference checks required; pre-start and annual modules completed
- Scheduling constraints: RTO policy in effect; must be able to work 3 of 5 listed holidays
- Role continuity: Return staff policy requires a 3-month interval between permanent and travel roles
