As a Security Guard - Full Time in Elk Grove Village IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an unarmed patrol professional where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support a caring culture that puts people first working with agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity to create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility including lobbies offices parking areas and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe people entering and leaving the location following post instructions for visitor processing badge verification and/or reporting irregular activity.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs related to patrols incidents and/or noteworthy conditions observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
