Humana is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our commission area. In this role, you will evaluate the impact of requested changes and work closely with stakeholders to configure the commission calculation rules along with any needed reporting. The ideal candidate would have experience configuring complex payment calculations and reports using the Varicent ICM software application.
The Senior Software Engineer oversees system configuration and develops fixes for defects. Researches configuration requests and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.
Responsibilities:
Review inbound stories that are submitted for system updates
Determine impacts and configuration of the changes requested
Configures system calculated commissions from the user stories provided
Corrects defects to ensure pay calculations and statements are accurate
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
3 or more years of configuring Varicent ICM software applications
5 or more years of experience designing and configuring complex software applications
Ability to learn new platforms quickly
Isolates, reproduces, and corrects defects
Develops configuration procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements

This role is full- time and fully remote.

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $104,800 - $144,300 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
