TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech Supervisor for travel assignments in hospitals, surgical centers, and healthcare facilities. The Supervisor will oversee the sterile processing department (SPD) , ensuring compliance with infection control standards and coordinating daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the sterile processing team.
  • Oversee instrument decontamination, sterilization, and distribution .
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines .
  • Maintain and enforce quality assurance protocols .
  • Train and evaluate Sterile Processing Technicians .
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance .
  • Investigate and resolve sterilization failures or equipment malfunctions .
  • Coordinate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure timely instrument availability.
  • Maintain accurate sterilization records and department logs .

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST, CSPDT, or CHL) required .
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years in sterile processing , with 1+ years in a leadership role .
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills .
    • Knowledge of infection control, sterilization techniques, and SPD management .
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to relocate for temporary travel assignments .
